Description

Waves worked into ornament, with the middle left empty.

The design

Blue and white water curling into scrollwork around the outside, and an open centre where nothing is drawn at all. The heart is the boundary between the pattern and the gap.

Leaving the middle empty is the hard part. Every instinct is to fill it, and filling it would close the shape and kill it.

Wearing it

The open centre takes its color from the shirt, which makes this one worth trying on the deeper shades: Pacific and Black both change it completely. Midweight organic cotton at 5.5 oz, regular fit.
